These terms apply to every order you place on dogtastik.com. Please read them before ordering. They don't affect your legal rights as a consumer.

1. About us

Dogtastik is a trading name of Samantha Goodwin, 20 Winchcombe Street, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, GL52 2LY. You can contact us by email at dogtastik@gmail.com.

We are not registered for VAT.

2. Who these terms are for

Our products are for personal use by consumers. We only sell to customers with a UK delivery address.

3. Placing an order

• You design your product on our website, add it to your basket and pay on Stripe's secure checkout page.
• Our contract with you starts when your payment is taken and you see your order confirmation. You'll also receive an email receipt.
• If we can't accept or complete your order, for example because of a problem with your design or a product being unavailable, we'll tell you and refund you in full.

4. Your personalised design

• We print your design as shown in the preview, using the breed, greeting, name, lettering and colours you chose. Please check it carefully, especially the spelling of any name, before you order.
• The preview shows how your design will be placed. The exact size and position of the print may vary slightly.
• Colours on screen can look slightly different from printed colours, depending on your device.
• We may refuse to print any text that we reasonably consider offensive, unlawful, or that infringes someone else's rights. If so, we'll cancel the order and refund you in full.

5. Prices and payment

• All prices are in pounds sterling (£). As we're not VAT registered, no VAT is charged.
• The delivery charge is shown in your basket and at checkout before you pay.
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
• If we discover we've made a clear pricing error, we'll contact you to ask whether you want to continue at the correct price, or cancel the order for a full refund.

6. Delivery

Delivery costs, timings and our Christmas order date are explained on our Delivery page. Delivery dates are estimates, and we're not responsible for delays outside our control. Your items become your responsibility once they've been delivered to the address you gave us.

7. Cancellations and returns

Because every item is personalised and made to order, the 14-day right to cancel doesn't apply, and we can't accept returns for change of mind or the wrong size. Full details are on our Returns & refunds page.

8. If something is wrong

If your item is faulty, damaged, misprinted or not as described, you have legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and we'll put it right with a replacement or refund. See Returns & refunds. For more about your rights, visit Citizens Advice.

9. Our artwork

The dog illustrations and designs on this website belong to us. Your purchase is for your own personal use, and you may not copy or reproduce our artwork to sell or for any other commercial purpose.

10. Our responsibility to you

If we break these terms, we're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of that. We're not responsible for business losses, as our products are for personal use. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law, including your legal rights as a consumer.

11. Events outside our control

We're not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as postal disruption or severe weather. If this happens, we'll let you know and do what we can to reduce the delay. If the delay is significant, you can cancel and receive a refund for anything you haven't received.

12. Your personal information

We use your personal information only as set out in our Privacy & cookies policy.

13. Disputes and the law

If you have a problem, please contact us first. We'll always try to resolve it. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and you can bring legal proceedings in the courts there. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on our website when you place your order is the one that applies to it.
